Shelia Michellé ist schon seit frühester Kindheit im Gospelchor in erster Reihe gestanden. Gospel hat sie auch bis jetzt in ihrer musikalischen Laufbahn begleitet. Auch wenn sie bereits mit vielen anderen Größen wie zB Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson oder Phillip Bailey ( Earth Wind and Fire ) im Studio und auf der Bühne stand, ist Shelia stehts am Boden der Realität geblieben und hat ihre eigene Linie mit Bands wie "Souldeep" oder der Gospelgruppe "4Real" weitergeführt.
