Malcolm Green

Malcolm Green, wurde 1956 in den USA geboren und studierte Saxophon an der Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia, sowie an der Howard University in Washington D.C.
Mit dem Musical „Raisin’ in the Sun” am Stadttheater St. Gallen kam er 1979 erstmals in die Schweiz.
Am Konservatorium für Musik in Bern machte er sein Querflötendiplom und unterrichtet heute Jazzgesang, Querflöte und Saxophon.
Der passionierte Sänger fühlt sich nicht nur im Gospel daheim. Jazz, Blues, Dixieland, Reggae, Pop und Rock sind Musiksparten, in denen Malcolm Green sich gern stimmlich austobt. Gelegenheit dazu bieten ihm Auftritte in verschiedenen Formationen und mit diversen Gospelchören u.a auch mit dem Freiburg Gospel Choir.
